Like 2 billion other people around the world last Friday, I gathered some friends together for a Royal Wedding viewing party. Luckily for us, it was a 10pm wedding instead of whatever ungodly hour it aired in the States.
Invitations were extended, and the party instructions were clear. Wear your pearls and your pajamas because it's late at night, and we're old (hence easily tired)! We provided tiaras, tea, scones, delicious desserts from The Friday Shop, and champagne to toast the bride and groom. Our in-house craftslady (Vanessa) made look-alike engagement rings, so even if your name wasn't Kate, we could feel as cool as Kate.

Elena did a wonderful job representing her temporary home in the British Commonwealth. Her dress was a New Zealand flag with the Union Jack portion prominently displayed in the front, AND she made a chocolate biscuit cake (
just like the one Prince William requested for his wedding...click here for a recipe) featuring...the Union Jack!
Coverage for us started at 6pm, but the good arrivals started at 9pm. Wedding was at 10pm, and the kiss on the balcony with featuring the grumpy flower girl ended up around 12:30am. A good time was had by all (I think)!
