Saturday, Swell Cafe, St. Clair

No big trips for us this weekend, so we took to exploring a bit more of Dunedin.  Todd was put in charge of our afternoon entertainment and came up with the genius idea of heading down to Swell Cafe at St. Clair Beach for their Saturday afternoon jazz series.  Even though it was a bit rainy and gloomy, it was lovely.  We got a nice little table by the windows and had coffee, chips, a cheese roll, and a chocolate eclair (which actually came first so it was our appetizer).

We watched a lifeguard boat come back to shore (no idea where it had been or what it had been rescuing), watched surfers attempt to own the waves, and watched the waves crash into the sea wall.  It was a lovely afternoon, and we are looking forward to heading back on a nicer day to enjoy more of the beach!
