Barrantes Tour and Travel's intrepid sports reporter will blog soon with all the details of the Grand Prix, but our lifestyle reporter wanted to share a few pictures of our first day at Spa.
As you can see by how the fans are dressed (in sweater vests and clothes that need ironing), this isn't your typical American car race.

The view from our front row seats in the Eau Rouge grandstand - Eau Rouge being a very famous corner and Todd's favorite corner in all of Formula 1.

There were people of all ages.

Just a small portion of the track we can see from our seats...the entire track is a bit over 5 miles long

Happy happy happy happy Todd

The view up to our seats (we're sitting in the grandstands under the white roof) which kind of shows how steep Eau Rouge is)

I'm thankful Todd bought covered seats as a) it always at Spa, which it did a couple of times during qualifying and a wet wife is not a happy wife and b) so we wouldn't have to sit on the ground in the woods for hours.

Day 2 of #todds40thF1adventure and Day 1 at Spa - check!
