Things in the Road We Could Have Hit But Didn't

When we said we were renting a car in Ireland, people were afraid for us.  We got lots of warning about the narrow road, the roundabouts, and driving on the left.

Luckily, we lived in New Zealand for a year.

Within just a few kilometers after picking up the rental car, Todd's driving on the left skills were back.  Not long into Day 2 of driving, Todd's 'sheep avoidance skills' were also back. 

Here are pictures of all the animals in the road (not just in the road...owning the road and staring us down) that we could have hit but didn't.  

Horses...one not tied to anything or held onto by anyone

Sheep...duh.

Dogs...just chillin' in the MIDDLE OF THE LANE...damn suicidal Irish dogs

And of course, more sheep.

 

WTF is up with all these sheep!? Oh wait, we're in Ireland.
