Treacle Crinkles
Baking can be challenging at times, because we don't have all the same ingredients here as we do in the States. In my quest to make molasses crinkles, I had to learn all about treacle. The word treacle is technically the British word for all types of sugar made from refining sugar cane, so it includes molasses, golden syrup, blackstrap, etc. There's a specific difference between treacle and molasses based on how it's made but blah blah blah. It's going to be my substitute for molasses for this year - treacle crinkles it is.
