This past Sunday we did The Coastal Classic with Vanessa, Kitty, and Kathy-Jo. It was a lovely 12K walk, described on their website as having "views of the Otago coastline, climbing and descending rarely used forestry tracks with views of Lake Waihola and the Taieri Plains...finishing with a downhill descent that includes cross country farmland, forestry track, native bush, wetlands, and mud tracks." Even though the day was gray and drizzly, we had a good time.
